ABOUT THE PROJECT

This fully furnished 3-level apartment is a unique interior design masterpiece you can’t find anywhere else. Only the best-quality materials are used in constructions, which ensure its sustainability in exploitation. Completely changed and redesigned all communications (plumbing, electricity), as well as individually designed planning to create a comfortable and careless life for a family. 

Energy efficiency is one of the key points:

  • Economical LED lighting.

  • Heat control options for each room.

  • Hot water circulation heats both WC and Bathroom.

  • Energy-efficient home appliances

PLANNING

A lot of effort was involved to get the perfect layout for each area  to make them all as much comfortable and practical as possible. The result speaks for itself.

The apartment with the total area of 115m2 has 4 rooms, 2 WC and a balcony. It is designed to create a comfortable living space for those who appreciate a modern lifestyle. There is a living room combined with a kitchen, a balcony and WC on the first floor. The 2nd floor includes two bedrooms, bathroom and staircase. And, of course, there is this cozy lounge area under the rooftop on the 3rd floor, which gives you an extra space and more fun.

INTERIOR DESIGN

Practical solutions with minimalisms in details. Black-and-white colours combined with straight lines and geometric shapes throughout the apartment are playing the main role in design. Interior objects like lighting fixtures, furniture and artworks are individually designed and custom made for this apartment. Each built-in element is thought out to be practical and eye-catching without losing its minimalism.

"DEKO" (the magazine of interior design) showed their interest in this project and wrote a wide article about it.  You can see and swipe that specific magazine below (62-68 page).

 

Besides, "DEKO" also included this apartment in pictures of their newest calendar of 2019.

THE BUILDING

The building was renovated in 2007. Originally it was built as a factory with 4 floors. In 2007 it was completely renovated and rebuilt as a residential house with 6 floors.  Thanks to its original structure and size, it was possible to develop non-standard solutions for common and residential areas. Apartments are arranged around the building leaving a specious and wide open-terrace-type staircase in the centre. All floors in the staircase are lighted by daylight sun thanks to the transparent roof. These spacious and sunny common areas make a completely different impression of what the staircase is really about.

The building has its own heating system with individual heat meters for each apartment. There are two elevators, video surveillance and live guard in the building. Common areas are cleaned up every day. And a huge bonus for home residents, there is a beauty salon, hairdresser and many other services available on the first floor of the building. It definitely makes life much easier for everyone who lives here.

INFRASTRUCTURE

There is everything you need all around. All types of public transport connections just right next to the house (tram, bus, trolley, train). Local kindergarten, schools, grocery stores, cafes, gyms and different types of services available in really close neighbourhood. And, of course, free parking place right next to the house.

 

"Domina Shopping Center" locates in just 5-minute walking distance as well as the local park "Grīziņkalns" which is famous for its occasional street sport events during the summer time. It also takes just 5 minutes to get to the local public swimming pool and the largest sport square in Riga called "Centra Sporta Kvartāls", which is a true paradise for children.
